Bles dairies Consulting developed a Livestock Expertise Centre (LEC) for the Russian Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with: a Dutch research institution; a company that runs commercial laboratories; and an animal health research company. Bles dairies consulting was the lead firm in this venture financed by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture. The objective was to: establish 3 agri-based accredited MBA courses in 3 different regions in Russia; a laboratory that would offer analysis on the quality of roughage for feeding; a diagnostics research centre for veterinary purposes; and practical dairy training centre. This 3 year project completed in 2012 is currently self-financed with each of the four objectives achieved and each of the consortium partners currently operating successful standalone businesses.
