For a private investors in Western Russia Bles Dairies Livestock supplied 10,000 cows for this greenfield operation. The client wanted high quality dairy cows with yields around or above 30 litres per cow for this newly built farm. Bles dairies livestock worked with the investor in selecting good quality cows sourced in the Netherlands, which were then airfreighted in stages to Russia. Following the shipment Bles dairies livestock also offered management support and training to the farm’s employees on herd management and various other aspects relating to animal health management and milking. We also successfully managed the transition process that saw the operational management of the farm transferred to locally trained employees. The farm is currently still operationally active and consistently produces high quality milk sold into the Russian market.
