In cooperation with Wageningen University, Bles Dairies Consultancy is engaged in hands-on advice to a selected group of family based dairy farms in three regions of Romania. After having completed detailed analysis of the existing maize silages, all farms were visited to adjust the current feed ration and based on the expected herd development and milk production levels a forecast was made for the needed forage quality for the next winter period. Furthermore, the existing maize silages were inspected on temperature and density.
