Business round table meeting with minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine
On the 9th of March 2015, the Friesian participated in the Business Round Table meeting with Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mr. Pavlenko. The meeting was chaired by Albert Jan Maat, president of LTO Nederland. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss strategic issues concerning agriculturall relations between Ukraine and the Netherlands.

Crossbred study in Tanzania
One of our specialists has visited several farms and institutes in Tanzania. The purpose of the study (on request of the Dutch Embassy) is to survey the characteristics and efficiency of crossbred cows in the various local climates and circumstances.
Farm management support in Kazakhstan
One of our devoted senior farm managers is supporting a dairy farm in the North of Almaty, Kazakhstan. In autumn 2014, 780 pregnant heifers arrived at the farm which are now calving. The heifers were delivered from Canada by Bles Dairies Livestock. Starting from quarantine period, the farm manager took care of the heifers and started training of employees.
