FrieslandCampina implements dairy development projects worldwide to improve professionality among dairy farmers as well as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Part of this dairy development program is the visit of experienced Dutch dairy farmers who advise and train their colleagues abroad.
As introduction to this program and to prepare the Dutch farmers well, The Friesian was invited to conduct a training in The Netherlands in different dairy topics. About 15 selected dairy farmers attended this training, partly held at the Dairy Campus, part of Wageningen University and Research. Awareness was created among the group of farmers, a mixture of knowledge, practical skills and attitude (towards different cultures). Nowadays Dutch day-to-day dairy farming is top of the world, therefore to guide and advice dairy farmers in development countries is a mixture of dairy passion, logical thinking and discipline.
Good cooperation of the international experience of the senior trainers of Bles Dairies and the very suitable location on Dairy Campus, part of WUR.
