On October 17 we welcomed the sixteenth group of Finnish farmers for an Artificial Insemination Training. Our fertility expert Anne taught them to inseminate and how to prepare the semen being used for Artificial Inseminations. After the intensive and practical training the participants were ready to do the job at home. From all the previous groups (105 farmers), 95% are inseminating their own cows and according to their statistics with good results. The next training is scheduled in December.
After the Finnish farmers left, Anne flew to Finland himself to give two presentations. The first was about ‘How to optimize the use of sexed semen’ and the theme of his other presentation was ‘Calving to Pregnancy’. The audience of 150 farmers listened with great attention.
