At the end of August, Bles Dairies East Africa imported high quality heifers from the Netherlands. This heifers were purchased on demand by farmers in Kenya and in Uganda. Also four heifers will be shown at the Eldoret Agricultural Business Fair. This show and fair will take place from 21 to 23 of September and Bles Dairies East Africa will be prominently present at this fair.
The animals were shipped from Schiphol airport in the Netherlands to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. The trip went smoothly and after landing the heifers were transferred to trucks. The animals have now reached safe and sound their new (temporal) home at the Samo Farm near Eldoret.
