A farm in Egypt, given the low genetic potential of their existing herd, sought Bles Dairies Livestock’s support in replacing their entire herd. The farmer’s objective was to improve the herd’s yield through restocking with good high quality cows. Bles dairies livestock worked with the farmer through a structured phased program to replace his entire herd. As part of the replacement process we provided management support and training to the farm’s workers. Upon replacement of his herd the average yield per animal and the herd’s average production rose significantly.
